WWE Main Event on the WWE Network for October 28, 2014 emanates from Houston, TX. Our commentators are Michael Cole, JBL, and Byron Saxton.
The Miz and Damien Mizdow come out for MizTV. As they sit in the ring, the crowd chants for Mizdow. Miz says he was robbed on last Monday’s Raw when he was defeated by The Usos using some “twin magic.” Miz complains that in the rule book it says that an illegal man can’t win a match. Miz says that the Usos did not defeat Mizdow and him. Miz welcomes The Usos to MizTV. Miz asks The Usos why they did it. The crowd does the “U-SO!” chant. Miz says the crowd is being rude to The Usos. The Usos say they won because they are better. The Usos did a whacky “No” line. Miz starts talking down to them and The Usos start mimicking Miz. Miz says he wants a rematch now with the Usos and that he will beat them. Miz demands a different referee than on Raw. Charles Robinson comes down for the match as WWE Main Event goes to break.
We come back from break and The Usos rally the crowd behind them. Miz gains the advantage early and taunts with his “moneymaker” as Mizdow continues to mimic Miz. The Usos double team Miz, gaining the advantage with a few clotheslines. Miz fires back with a dropkick and then teases tagging in Mizdow by pointing at him and then refusing to do it. Miz eventually tagged Mizdow in. Mizdow did nothing and then Miz tagged back in. The Usos trade tags and then trade offense with Miz. Miz gets Jey Uso in a headlock but he fires back as Miz goes out of the ring. Jey flies with a splash on Mizdow as we go to break again.
As we come back, Miz flies off the top with an axe handle for a two count. Miz locks Jey into another headlock on the ground as the crowd chants for him to get back in it. Mizdow tags in and locks in another sleeper. Jey finally attempts a comeback, managing to tag in Jimmy for the hot tag. Jimmy lands a Samoan Drop rolls up Miz for a two count. Mizdow comes in and knocks down Jimmy and tags in Miz again. As both are in the ring, the referee tells Mizdow to leave. This allows Jey to rollup Miz again for the pinfall win. WWE Main Event goes to break once again.
Bo Dallas vs Sheamus is announced for later. The title does not seem to be on the line. Raw is then recapped with the John Cena and Stephanie McMahon angle featured.
Paige vs Natalya is next. Natalya is accompanied by Tyson Kidd who gets on commentary. Paige and Natalya trade holds, with Natalya gaining the advantage most of the time. Paige eventually cheap shots Natalya and screams at her. Paige continues with stomps until Natalya gets up, slaps her, and then suplexes Paige out of the ring. Natalya hits the baseball slide to Paige. Paige then hits a superkick and then gets back in the ring. Natalya gets back up after a while and then Paige knocks her back down with a kick. Natalya gets back up and locks in a unique submission in but Paige gets out and kicks her again. Paige locks in a leg-lock but Natalya attempts to get out with elbows to the head. Natalya finally picks up Paige to fight out of it but Paige counters into a two count. Natalya fires back and hits a German Suplex and then tries to lock in the Sharpshooter but Natalya gets the ropes. Paige hits the Paige Turner but doesn’t get the win. Paige gets frustrated and then locks in the Sharpshooter but Natalya counters with an attempt of her own. Paige rolls up Natalya for the pinfall win.
A Luke Harper vignette was shown. A new one. Weird visual.
Bo Dallas vs Sheamus is the main event. Bo Dallas cuts a promo and tells us that cloning isn’t legal yet but Bo is offering himself to whoever Bo-lieves. Bo tries to get a few cheap shots in but Sheamus won’t have it. Bo and Sheamus trade arm locks until Sheamus knocks Bo down with a body block. Both men trade offense until Bo hits a dropkick. Bo then gets out of the ring and does his victory lap. Bo knocks Sheamus down again with a cheap shot and cheers in victory. Sheamus forces Bo out of the ring and does the apron punches to the chest. Bo gets angry at Sheamus and they start slapping one another. Bo goes for the Bo Dog. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick for the win to close WWE Main Event.
